Wayne has been playing guitar, writing songs, and singing since he was nine years old. He also plays bass, drums, keys, mandolin, bouzouki, and banjo. He plays Buddy in a Buddy Holly tribute called Buddy Holic. For many years he fronted and co-founded the original progressive rock band Nomadic Sanctuary playing at the Museum Of Pop Culture in Seattle Washington, opening shows for Blue Oyster Cult, Jefferson Starship, Nick Gilder, And Sweeney Todd. In 2012 Wayne traveled to Lubbock, Texas where he met Buddy Holly’s family. Wayne released his first solo CD titled “Greetings from the here and now” in 2013. “Greetings from the here and Now” was followed up with the “706 Union Avenue E.P.” which was partially recorded in 2014 at the legendary Sun Studio in Memphis, Tennessee. The single “Disappearing Ink” was engineered by Matt Ross Spang (The Sheepdogs, Chris Isaak). Wayne released his second full-length solo album called The Descendant (Volume One) in the spring of 2019, released an old school country record called "The Brotherhood Of The Scapegoat - All Quiet On The Country And Western Front" on July 3rd, 2020, and The Descendant (Volume Two) released on April 1st, 2022. 2 new singles were released digitally in January 2024. Spalding Rhodes is a Vancouver based duo that plays both originals and covers. With wide ranging influences that span decades and genres, Tim Charman and Steph Jackson make music that appeals to all audiences. They are also joined on occasion by drummer Chris Sallis-Lyon to perform as a trio.

The pair met on stage in 2018 at a community concert event in the Gulf Islands and they have been making music together ever since. They have played at breweries, resorts, clubs, weddings, private parties and festivals. Colin Sankey is a bassist, composer, and arranger from Vancouver, BC. Compared to Victor Wooten, Marcus Miller, and Alain Caron, his use of extended techniques, such as tapping and harmonics, creates lush harmonies and infectious grooves that sound almost orchestral in nature. Colin is the 1st place winner of the 2022 Phil Jones Solo Bass Competition and has gone viral with his solo bass arrangements, achieving over 15 million views across social media platforms in the last year.

Julia is a vocalist and contemporary singer/songwriter based in Vancouver, BC. Julia brings a warmth and vulnerability to her songwriting and performance that will draw you in and make you feel right at home. Having recently completed her Bachelor’s degree at VCC, she is quickly becoming a mainstay vocalist in Vancouver’s music scene.

As a duo their instrumentation creates a unique texture, blending Julia’s melodic R&B vocals with Colin’s virtuosic six-string bass playing.

Moving City started nearly a decade ago with co-creators Logan Shaw and Andrew Facciolo writing songs as an acoustic duo in Toronto, Ontario. Since reuniting in Vancouver in 2020, the group has grown to 5 members, adding another guitar player (Chris Johnson), Bass (Jan Toren) and Drums (Madison Norton).

Since the addition of the full band, the Moving City sound has changed from two acoustic guitars to a dynamic and diverse performing group, playing songs that were written originally on acoustic guitars and transposed into a contemporary pop rock/alt rock sound.

Ian x Ben is a collaborative project featuring two of Vancouver's most prolific loopers. Ian Cromwell is a classically-trained violist whose love and deep passion for music winds its way through alternative, jazz, hip-hop, and R&B to take the form of punched-up funky interpretations of rock and pop classics. Benjamin Parker on guitar breathes new life into a blues-rock and soul classic sound. Longtime collaborators and friends, Ian and Ben first joined forces as members of “saloon folk” band Jack Mercer & The Whiskey Bandits. Since then, Ian and Ben have lit up stages all over Vancouver separately, coming together for the first time in 2024.

Audiences can expect to enjoy classics that cross blues rock, soul, pop, and funk, with lush and inventive virtuoso electric violin and guitar over a background of heavy beats and pristine loops. Singing along is highly encouraged.

Alvin Brendan has been quickly crafting a strong identity for himself as a Jazz musician in Vancouver. Despite his youth, he has been fortunate enough to land many performance and recording opportunities with Vancouver’s best. Alvin attributes his cool and sophisticated sound to his learning from his local heroes Bill Coon and Ron Samworth, as well as having the opportunity to learn from internationally acclaimed legends Peter Bernstein and Lorne Lofsky. In combining his love for early Jazz/Swing music with his contemporary influences, Alvin always aims to create a statement that adheres to a rich musical tradition whilst being exciting and fresh. Alvin was the recipient of the 2020 ‘Rising Star Jazz Musician Award’ by the Fort Langley Jazz & Arts Festival.

Earl Pereira got his rock n’ roll pedigree as a founding member of Wide Mouth Mason, who had 3 gold records, three 3 JUNO nominations, 5 Top 20 Much Music Videos, 10 Top 20 Canadian Radio hits, and a host of other accolades and awards. He has toured the world, having played nearly 3000 shows and opening for iconic acts such as The Rolling Stones, AC/DC, The Guess Who, Alanis Morissette, Van Morrison, The Tragically Hip, and many more. Pereira was also named one of Canada's top bassists in Canadian Musician Magazine. Pereira also has experience in the film and theatre industries having worked on over a dozen big budget music videos through Warner Music, performed on the big screen in the major motion picture ‘The Recruit’ starring Colin Farrel and Al Pacino, as well as performed in a multi-million dollar theatre production ‘Vigilante’ with Catalyst Theatre. Pereira utilized these experiencing by directing or co-directing all 10 Steadies music videos.

Martin Eade is a longtime stalwart in Vancouver's music scene, from his beginnings in drum corps, to cabaret acts throughout the seventies and eighties, to his current in-demand status in the blues and roots music world. A sensitive, dynamic and versatile drummer, Martin also takes the mic for a few vocal numbers with the Lab Rats.
