Cara McCandless is a prolific singer-songwriter and guitar player who doesn’t like to linger too long in one genre, but her live show is a blend of heartfelt blues, folk, rock, and country.

When Cara got her first guitar it was a life changing moment that became a passion and a journey of self discovery and reflection through songwriting. From that moment, Cara took to writing and has written over 160 songs and counting.

Cara had released three albums. Gypsy Sea, her debut album, Cara McCandless, her self titled acoustic album, and DADGAD, a bunch of songs written in an alternate tuning. Cara is set to record a fourth album in her home based studio in Victoria, BC that will showcase her bluesability.

Cara’s passion for music extends past writing, to recording, and to playing live where she shines and shares her stories and her talent.

SAVI is a female music artist/singer/songwriter based in Vancouver who's been singing her whole life. She has an expanded repertoire of pop, rock, classical, opera, musical theater, etc. She has traveled and lived throughout Canada, being part of bands, performing with orchestras, being a member of college choirs, while growing as an artist having a drive to write her own music. She is currently in the process of finishing her album, Miss Independent which releases in February. She's an influencer/cosplayer who enjoys cute aesthetics, Japanese culture and anime, she is known as a living fox. She has always been passionate about music and her dream is to continue writing and to further her career, performing, touring and inspiring others and sharing her art.

Myles from Home is a singer-songwriter who sings, plays guitar and harmonica and enjoys spending time outdoors naked. His friends call him Beach Santa. He splits his time between measuring neutrons from nuclear fusion experiments and co-fronting the band Gnarfunkel. He has released two self-produced albums, the latest in 2019, entitled “Reading, Riting and Rithmetic”.

Nick Varelas is a multi instrumentalist and vocalist. He is an accomplished pop and country musician and is a member of several local bands, including his own Nick Ellis Band. He frequently plays around the lower mainland, in venues such as the Commodore and the Roxy. Educated at both Capilano University and Vancouver Community College, Nick enjoys putting elements of jazz, pop, and electronic music into his country compositions, creating a signature sound that stands out in the modern country scene.

Leon Ruvel’s music is intense and romantic.

Songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Leon Ruvel (vocals, piano, guitar, bass, and harmonica) grew up in Mexico, where the daily living is a rush; a contrast between black and white, good and evil, but always a country full of art and romance. These factors forged Leon's sensitive music, and influenced his song writing. His repertoire ranges from love songs to protest lyrics.

Leon Ruvel´s music, accompanied by his piano and guitar, make a distinctive sound in the genre of rock-pop and soft rock. His way of setting beautiful lyrics to slow and upbeat melodies finds its way into the hearts and minds of people from different cultures and ages.

Brian Africa is an eclectic singer/songwriter/multi-instrumentalist from Vancouver, BC, Canada who is taking the DIY solo approach to creating and releasing music. His music leans towards Indie Folk with a hint of Nineties Alternative Rock and Sixties Folk Music sensibilities.

JC Townsend is an alternative acoustic singer songwriter from Vancouver Canada. He was born in Calgary, where he had his first opportunity to perform and tour with The Calgary Boy’s Choir as the age of 9. JC travelled to the UK and across Canada as a feature performer. In his teens, he changed direction and began a life long journey, playing and touring in heavier (punk, heavy metal, hardcore) bands. JC has contributed to various projects (The Inahlers, Conch, Car 87, Drown in ashes and Press On) on guitar, bass, and as a lead vocalist. He has always had an interest in melodic acoustic music, spinning Led Zepplin and Neil Young Records at a very young age. In early 2020 JC decided to begin his journey as a solo acoustic artists, writing songs rooted in social issues, mental health, addiction, loss, recovery, connection, and his lived experience(s).

Francis Baptiste is an Indigenous songwriter and music journalist from the Osoyoos Indian Band. His forthcoming debut LP, Snəqsilxʷ (Family), features songs in N̓syilxčn̓, a highly endangered language, spoken fluently by only approximately 150 people. The first single from his LP was released in November. He is also a music journalist who writes for Exclaim, Permanent Rain Press, and Vancouver Weekly.

Augustiner is an emerging folk rock singer/songwriter originally from Pembroke, Ontario who calls Vancouver, BC home. Raised in a community that shared and blended genres, promoted love and passion, his music became no different.

His raw vocals and passion are powerfully delivered in his recently released EP C.O.L.D. and his continually evolving stage presence.

A band which sticks true to their rock god influences but at the same time leads their own march in search of a diverse rock-and-roll sound. 80's inspired classic, crunchy guitar riffs and jaw-dropping solos are always on the menu, as well as the down-right heavy rock tones and melodies heard from bands such as Audioslave, Foo Fighters and Big Wreck. Redwoods' performances are notoriously fun, sweaty and infectious. They breathe electricity into each member of the room like a contagious rock-and-roll virus.

Gnarfunkel is a Vancouver-based band making waves with their electrifying live shows and unique melangé of musical styles. Fronted by two animalistic lead singers and backed by a tight, funky rhythm section, they take audiences on an energetic journey through time and space. Their sound incorporates elements of rock, hip hop, Latin, psychedelia, and Eastern music in a sound they dub “Gnar Funk” with each band member playing a large range of eclectic instruments.

Gnarfunkel expanded their artistic soundscape with two new singles in summer 2021. “Show Me” is an indie soul tune featuring horns and a groovy beat and “Full Flower Moon” is a world folk tune featuring acoustic guitar, sitar and other Indian instruments. Gnarfunkel recorded their debut album “Gnarnia” under the guidance of Juno-nominated producer Tom Dobrzanski. A number of singles from this album will be released in early 2022, including fan favourite “A Million Monkeys”. “Gnarnia” will be released in May 2022 in a limited edition vinyl pressing and will be supported by a Canadian tour.

Fear The Wolves is a band armed to the teeth with memorable hooks that effortlessly tap into the popular modern rock sound of today, but at the same time is nostalgic of early 2000‘s alternative grunge-rock (Nickleback, Korn, Finger 11). This trio is making their mark in a clearly defined and unique way, paying homage to the influences that they each pull from, as well as their individual experiences in the industry (members of Chilled Clarity, and many other projects, alongside a collective love of music production and custom music equipment).
